Lyndsay Nicholson

Director

Lyndsay joined the practice in early 2009 and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in September 2011. She has since also qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT).

With over 20 years’ experience in general practice accountancy, Lyndsay uses her knowledge to serve a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from Sole Traders to Limited Companies with multi-million-pound turnovers.

Whilst she has a broad range of experience, her particular area of specialism is audit and she gained her Responsible Individual (RI) status in 2016. Her audit clients include Groups, Client Money Audits, Academies, Solicitors Accounts Rules and Grant claims as well as varying sectors – retail, haulage, manufacturing, wholesale to name a few.

She enjoys developing relationships with clients to enable her to fully understand their needs and adding value to their business.

This experience has also enabled her to provide advice to fellow accountancy practices in the field of audit, serving as a mentor and point of contact where they may be in need.

Lyndsay is also a trustee for a local charity, wanting to give back to the community some of the skills she has developed over the years.

Outside of work, Lyndsay is a keen traveller and is always planning her next destination with her partner.

A bit of a foodie, she loves to eat out and spend quality time with family and friends. She recently welcomed her baby girl Delilah and looks forward to creating lots of memories as a family.
